Welcome to La Fetuseria

Via del Cavallo, 79, 60019 Senigallia AN, Italy

General Info

Tucked away in the charming coastal town of Senigallia, La Fetuseria feels like the kind of restaurant you stumble upon once-and then keep coming back to. The location itself is easy to find, yet it still carries that slightly hidden, local-favorite vibe that makes the whole experience more personal.

From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for casual dinners as it does for small group gatherings. The onsite services are smooth and unobtrusive, and whether you’re dining in with friends or stopping by for a laid-back meal, everything feels thoughtfully arranged. The option for NFC mobile payments adds a modern touch, which is always convenient after a long, satisfying meal.

Now, let’s talk about the menu-because that’s really where La Fetuseria shines. One dish that absolutely stands out is the Antipastino Con Prosciutto Cotto Artigianale Polpettine Di Cavallo Fritte Burratina Fresca Lucana. It’s a mouthful to say, but even more impressive to taste. The combination of artisanal cooked ham, crispy fried horse meatballs, and fresh burratina creates a balance of textures and flavors that feels both rich and comforting. Each bite tells you this kitchen cares about quality and tradition.

Alongside the food, the restaurant offers a solid selection of beer, which pairs beautifully with the savory dishes on the menu. It’s not overwhelming, but it’s curated enough to complement the dining experience. You can tell that the focus here isn’t just on variety-it’s on getting the details right.

What really stands out, though, is how natural everything feels. The service isn’t forced, the pacing of the meal is just right, and the overall experience flows effortlessly. Reviews from visitors often highlight that same sense of authenticity, and it’s easy to see why. There’s no pretense here-just good food, a comfortable setting, and a team that clearly knows what they’re doing.

If you’re exploring different restaurant options in Senigallia, La Fetuseria is one of those places that quietly leaves a strong impression. It’s not trying too hard, yet it delivers exactly what you’d hope for from a memorable dining spot.

What customers say?

“ We went there for a birthday celebration. Everything was absolutely fabulous. The chef made us a wonderful cake and the young lady aka waitress was extremely kind, always smiling although she was serving everyone by herself and under a lot of pressure. The atmosphere is super cozy, really good energy overall. Definitely coming back. Thank you for your patience and kindness! ”

“ The best restaurant on the Conero hill! They are amazing people and explain to us the meaning of the name, so funny :) Perfect stay ”

- Luca Bontempi -

“ Comfortable atmosphere, very courteous service, but most importantly, the food... Delicious!!! A carefully curated menu with interesting options. We had horse meat and wild boar, which were truly excellent. The bill was reasonable. Highly recommended. ”

“ I went with my family and we had a great time. There's a huge garden outside, but unfortunately the weather was bad the day we were there. The place is welcoming, as is the girl who seated us. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about except that everything was exceptional: exquisite and tasty dishes with excellent flavors and combinations. The crostini were fabulous, and the first courses were excellent, including the lasagna and paccheri. Highly recommended; if you're in the area, it's a must. ”

“ A truly pleasant place, where you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is simple yet refined, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your time unhurriedly. The hospitality is one of its strong points: kindness and attentiveness make you feel immediately at ease. A special thanks to the owner for her helpfulness and the authentic way she runs this bistro. I'll gladly return ”

“ Let me start by saying that if you're an anxious or rushed person, avoid this oasis of tranquility. A magnificent location surrounded by greenery, the cuisine is made exclusively with local ingredients or from the owner's (very kind) land. The menu changes daily, but if it maintains the quality of what we ate this evening, it's truly worth it. Prices are a little above average, but considering the quality of the products, they're more than justified (plus, I personally used The Fork, which offered a 30% discount, so if you happen to find the same promotion, take advantage of it). ”

“ Tried it for the first time with a special offer, for dinner. We liked it for the overall cuisine and the friendly, cheerful, and accommodating service from the young owner. The rural-style establishment features a large garden and swimming pool, located on the hillside overlooking Senigallia, where you can enjoy the view and the taste buds as well as relax in the bedrooms, for a truly welcoming experience. Everything we tried was delicious, with generous portions, starting with a more than generous shareable frittino, followed by two first courses (well presented, not gourmet), and finally an 800g T-Bone to share. Although the meat was good, it was served in two thin slices, which somewhat detracted from its authenticity. The dishes were, however, beautifully served on a hot stone. I tried a red wine by the glass, unfortunately, for my personal taste, it was definitely too sweet to accompany a meat dish. Small homemade pastries are available for a fee, and the coffee is good. Despite these small issues, it was a pleasant stop, perhaps worth trying again in the warmer weather outside. ”

“ A country house completely surrounded by greenery, on the very first hill, yet just a five-minute drive from the beaches and eight minutes from the center of Senigallia. Run by two young people, under new management this year. Sara offers a warm and friendly welcome. Highly recommended! ”
